Fully Recommended Tentative Agreement Reached

Smith’s and Teamsters Local 14 bargaining committees have reached a fully recommended tentative agreement on a new contract for our Las Vegas Distribution Center dry grocery associates. This is great news!

Tentative Agreement Highlights

  • Wages: Consistent wage increases through the term of the three-year agreement
  • Pension: Transition to Western Conference of Teamsters Pension in the third year of the agreement
  • Healthcare: Decrease cap to 10% of plan costs during the agreement term (currently up to 19%).
    • Keep healthcare affordable by limiting premium increases to no more than 7% annually.
  • Work Hours: Guaranteed forty (40) hours of work per week

Both the Company and Union bargaining committees worked to reach an agreement that includes market-competitive wage increases, maintains affordable healthcare, and continues investing in your retirement savings.

The Union will share more information on the fully recommended tentative agreement soon and provide voting details.
